Camp takes place inside of AZ's Fashion Headquarters. A real fashion incubator that helps to start and grow hundreds of emerging fashion brands.

+1 tuition free scholarship slot available to Tempe resident. To win the scholarship, post a photo on Instagram of the camper doing something fashion related with a description of why he/she would want to attend this camp. Tag #FABRICFashionCamp. and follow @AZapprelfoundation and @fabrictempe. One winner will be selected and notified by IG private message and tagged on May 25, 2020.
*Student must attend each day because each subjects builds upon the subject before it and culminates in a fashion show showcasing the work at the end of the camp. If a student misses a day they may not be able to catch up.
$99/day x 10 days = $990
Must have at least 5 students signed up. If 5 students do not sign up, you will be refunded.
*Camper should pack a lunch, bottle of water, and snack for each day. Some additional snacks will be provided.

The design and garment construction process, textiles, industry and garment terminology and vocabulary, target market, branding, fiber/yarn/textiles, pattern making, garment cutting, sewing, fashion show production
APPLIED SKILLS IN
Sketching croquis and technical flats, screen printing, fabric dyeing, surface design, heat transfers, measurement specifications, pattern making, garment cutting, garment sewing on industrial machines, fashion show production, hair styling, makeup techniques and professional presentation techniques.
PROJECTS
Silhouette paper project, company logo, mood board, surface design project, fashion illustrations, technical flats, tie dyed T-shirt with camper’s logo heat transferred and camp logo screen printed, custom leggings, camper will model in a runway show wearing the designs they created

Notes and hand outs on design elements/principles, garment terminology, merchandise categories, sketching templates, measuring tape, custom made leggings (fabric included), pattern paper, custom printed T-shirt, finished projects
